Big week for limited releases. Check out the trailers there’s bound to be something there to get you out for an evening, or a matinée if you’re like me. We’re about to say goodbye to James as the Summer comes to an end. We’ve really enjoyed having him here, his curious nature, quick mind, and irascible sense of humor. In fact he extended his stay an extra two weeks!! It won’t be the same without his warm loving spirit. We’re looking forward to his return. Hope you guys have a great weekend, Love and Peace

OK I’ve got to admit, this one was a great deal more difficult than I thought it would be. It actually required you to use more than just your brian to figure it out. You should have grab a map, or globe, and things may have been clearer.
ALGERIA, BURKINA, FASO, FRANCE,
GHANA,MALI, SPAIN, UNITED KINGDOM
These are the countries through which the zero degree longitude line passes. The missing country is TOGO, on the continent of Africa.

The answer was right there in the first post. Dog owners have names that start with a vowel. Cat owners have names that end with a vowel. Emma has a vowel both at the beginning and the end of her name, so she would own both a dog and a cat.

This time I was able to get half of the solution because I looked at this puzzle from an entirely different angle, and it worked. I looked for groups within the groups to help me find the variable that would show the pattern. Now if this could be applied to the way we approach problem solving in general, answers to questions we had given up on finding solutions to may be illuminated.
As we start this new week let’s look for the groups within groups, the patterns within patterns, that have hidden themselves from us, like pearls tucked safely inside of oysters, waiting to be discovered.
Have a great week, God bless you and keep you safe.

Now that your brains are warmed up from that extremely challenging puzzle posted on Tuesday of this week I’m throwing out an easy one. I haven’t checked the answer yet, but I think I’ve already figured this one out. Hope you come to the same conclusion I did. Here it is:
Adam, Isabel, and Eric each own a dog. Jane, Joshua, and Chloe each own a cat. What kind of pet owner would Emma be?

Let’s see what creative solutions you guys can come up with. Good Luck!! Look for the solution tomorrow.

JURY,TENT,VOICE, and TENSE belong in the inbox; with the addition of the prefix “in,” each one makes a new word (injury, intent, invoice, intense). LINE, BACK,BURST, and CRY belong in the outbox because they make new words with the addition of the prefix “out” (outline, outback, outburst, outcry).
I didn’t even come close on this ine. How did you do? Thanks for playing, see ya tomorrow

Bobby Braingle has accidentally knocked over his inbox and his outbox. Eight pieces of paper have fallen to the floor, each with a single word printed on it. Can you figure out which of the following words belong in Bobby’s inbox and which belong in his outbox?
JURY,LINE,BACK,TENT,BURST,VOICE,TENSE,CRY
This puzzle is rated as a medium difficulty. I’m going to post the solution tomorrow, so make sure you check back. Good Luck!!

I’m sure after a while this one came to you as quickly as it did to me. The answer to OLD WEST ACTION is Clint Eastwood. I’ve always been a big fan of his work. When he left the westerns to go detective I still enjoyed his acting. Thanks Clint for the many, many years of entertainment pleasure.
I thought this puzzle would be a little more challenging, but I’m satisfied that it did stimulate some of my dormant neurons. Look for tomorrows riddle, and be ready to get your brain teased.
