I must admit I’m a push over when it comes to a horror suspense film. Having said that I’ll admit to going to see The Crazies, the latest release from Overture Films, first thing this morning. It was just what I expected and just a little more. I was kept interested by the hero of the film just trying to do his job when he gets caught up in the ” Containment Protocols ” put in place after a military disaster. To make a long story short and not give away any secrets, let’s just say things are predictable to a point then they take an interesting turn, make sure you stay for the credits, hint, hint

Films Opening Today February 12, 2010

 

Hi everyone looks like we have some great film choices this weekend. We already checked out The Wolfman. I felt it was done very well. Being a person who grew up watching Lon Chaney, Jr play this role I must admit this version tried to stay true to the original. I was held in suspense enough for me to rate this one a must see if you’re a fan of the genre. I’m also planning to get my fantasy fix by going to see Percy Jackson & the Olympians: the Lightning Thief. This one looks like pure fun and I’m eager to see it. Hope you all have a blessed weekend.
